NHS ‘tobacco free’ campaign launched by Public Health England

27 February 2017

iPiP welcomes the statement made by PHE.

Hilary Wareing, who was a topic expert adviser with NICE Quality Standards says, “It is over three years since the NICE guidance was published.  It is not just about banning smoking outside health service buildings, but implementing all the recommendations to ensure individuals are supported in complying with the smokefree status and provided with the opportunity to access evidence-based support to help them quit.”
